I have downloaded, installed and activated the latest version of th panopress plugin on my WPsite.
Used the PP button and inserted the following file
The page only shows the following
and not the actual jpeg.
Have I done something wrong?
Who could please help me resolve this problem? Your support is highly appreciated.
Please see attached print screen.

panopress will not convert a jpg to an interactive panorama, nor will it embed jpg image on your site
please see the panopress instructions for information on what panopress does ond how it is used

Thank you Sam, I appreciate your support!
I am aware that panopress will not convert a jpeg into 360.
I have a 360 photo (with jpeg extentsion right) which I wish to show on my WP site.
Panopress does it says: “PanoPress is a free WordPress plugin for displaying 360° Panoramas on your WordPress site”
I have read the panopress instructions carefully and installed accordingly. Transferred the 360 jpeg with FTP and clicked the PP button in the WP page editor.Added the filename and the result was as described. I don’t see what I am doing wrong here 🙁
Any advice is appreciated.
Enjoy your Sunday,

Now I am totally lost.
Panopress is meant for showing 360 panoramas on your WP site, or am I mistaken?
Uploading the 360 like a normal image results in not displaying as 360 but as equirectangular.
I am sorry for all of this but you can tell that I am a layman and stuck.April 3, 2016 at 7:34 pm #3496
a 360° equirectangular jpg is NOT an interactive panorama
uploading a 360° equirectangular jpg to wordpress will only ever give you a 360° equirectangular jpg, NOT an interactive 360° panorama, neither wordpress or panopress will convert such an image to an interactive format
you must convert the equirectangular jpg to an interactive panorama on your own using krpano, pano2vr, kolor panotour or similar app and upload the finished pano to your server etc before embedding with panopress, as explaind in the panopress instructions
you could also upload your equirectangular jpg to a site like http://360cities.net or http://round.me which would convert your jpg and allow you to view an interactive version, and use an embed code from that site on your own wp site

Sorry , I uploaded it with FileZila client in wp-content/upload.April 9, 2016 at 12:07 pm #3504
I have been trying to get this pluggin to work for 2 days and can’t figure it out. I have followed everything to uploads checking my ” and nothing. A friend who knows more about WP then I can’t figure it out either. The most I have been able to see was an icon of a play button but when clicked it said file wasn’t found. Also the plugging pop up doesn’t show everything. i attached a photo. I have realized there are two buttons if i play with my zoom so i can get it to finally enter but still not working. Tried on 3 browsers. Friend has some screen as I do on his browsers.April 9, 2016 at 12:46 pm #3505

No one here?
I still have this issue with my virtual visit in WordPress. Here is the url where my vv has been uploaded:
I uploaded all the folders and file with filezila exactly as I can see them on my desktop and the vv works very wel in local (localhost etc).
I think panopress is not the problem because I tried with using iframe and it’s the same thing, nothing works..
Thx 🙂April 12, 2016 at 5:58 am #3508
I am sorry Peino, I am also struggling and unfortunately do not have the answer for you.April 15, 2016 at 10:51 pm #3512
a broken link like this will never work in panopress, because it does not work on its own it gives panopress nothing to display
you must upload all required files for your panorama to your server and confirm your pano works on its own BEFORE embedding with panopress
the specifics of what files you need to upload will depend on what player you are using, see the instructions for your player for more information
and as always, READ THE PANOPRESS INSTRUCTIONS AND HELP GUIDE 😉

I have followed the instructions and your additional advice.
– Equirectangular photo has been converted into interactive panorama by using p2vr.
– Transferred file with FTP to WP server
Now I am strugling to setting the right path.
At the WP server the path is /webspace/siteapps/WordPress-386051/htdocs/wp-content/uploads
File name is GHQJ0466_cube.p2vr
In advanced panopress settings I need to insert this path right?
However, the following shows (see attached). It keeps saying that the folder does not exist.
What am I doing wrong?

.p2vr is a pano2vr project file, not the panorama it creates, you must create html5 or flash output pano with this file, and upload the results
see the pano2vr instructions for more info
also seems your specified upload folder does not exist, which of course will not work, you must choose a folder that actually exists, or just go with default settings
