The issue we are having is that when we call the webpage with the virual tours the play button does not appear on loading. The page needs to be refreshed. Once it’s refreshed everything operates as it should. Most viewers however are not intuitively refreshing the page in order to view the panorama. Should be rendering the play button immediately on load.

We have the latest version of wordpress running along with the latest version of panopress. The virtual tours are loaded on a subdomain (vtours.oakvillekitchendesigners.ca) which is being redirected to the primary domain. We did this in the hopes that it would help with page speed.

We have contacted PTGui thinking that it was an issue with the viewer. Here is their reply:
I’m sorry but I have no idea; this is a web design issue, it doesn’t appear to be a problem with the PTGui viewer.

“I do see the following errors in Safari, perhaps this gives a clue:

    [Error] SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘
    (anonymous function) (custom_js.js, line 7)
[Error] Viewport argument value “false” for key “user-scalable” is invalid, and has been ignored. (KDP Bednis VT2.htm, line 148)
[Error] Blocked a frame with origin “http://vtours.oakvillekitchendesigners.ca” from accessing a frame with origin “http://oakvillekitchendesigners.ca”. Protocols, domains, and ports must match.

We are using the Bridge Theme by Qode. We have contacted their support team and have been told that it is an issue with the panopress plugin.

We are out of our element on this issue. Can you assist in solving this?

    Thank you.

all of your panos above seem to be displaying properly here (background image glitch is probably due to size mismatch and specific css formatting on this site), and your pano page works fine for me w no errors and proper button display (no refresh required) etc on safari, firefox and chrome, all latest versions on latest mac OS X 10.10x

which would indicate there is no issue with panopress, so it must be your theme or another plugin causing some conflict, the ONLY way to properly debug this and confirm is by your testing w plugins disabled and default wordpress theme etc, as explained in the FAQ

    http://www.panopress.org/forums/topic/panopress-troubleshooting-faq-read-me/

or could be some sort of local browser issue on your end, all works well here so maybe try a different testing machine

i load panos across different domains w panopress all the time, never any problems UNLESS it is some sort of cross domain issue w flash or html5 CORS etc, but that would be a server or file issue not caused by or specific to panopress or wordpress

Hi, since a few days I have the same problem. In march 2015 with previous version of wordpress it worked all fine(also multisite setup: gpudesign.de en.gpudesign.de es.gpudesign.de). Using the the latest versions and multi-site network for different languages.
It works when you enter the page with the panorama directly. http://gpudesign.de/Visualisierungen/interaktive-360-grad-panoramatour/
But when you enter through the website menu, which is the normal way, the panorama only loads after refreshing the page. click link and then image on the upper left corner in my portfolio. http://gpudesign.de/visualisierungen/

Using Salient theme on Strato hosting and various plugins. Tried with deactivated plugins – still did not load on first opening. The panorama data I´m using is in formats html5 and flash
I hope you can help Sam!

    Greetings Robert

Alright – turns out if you switch from AJAX loading to classic in salient options it works just fine. Page transitions aren’t as smooth but OK.

Just a heads up for anyone else facing the same issue. 🙂
Thank you for the great plugin!
