Hello, I’m having consistent problems uploading and then embedding my tour made with Panotour Pro 1.8 by Kolor to my wordpress site, http://www.kretvision.com . I’ve attempted to upload the tour into various folders, from the ‘wp-content’ to it’s subfolder ‘uploads’, then via FTP and FileZilla directly via my domain username and password hosted on godaddy, without any success. Once uploading the tour, which works whenever I drag it into a browser (both .swf and .html files), I cannot link to it directly as a file on any location, (for example at http://www.kretvision.com/wp-content/uploads/pdpvr/piazzadelpoplo.html ) nor can I view it if I attempt to embed it in a post with a panopress shortcode such as

    Error
    Javascript not activated

I am not sure if this is an issue that has to do with the tours, or if it is due to the fact that I’m uploading these files through godaddy’s domain or anything like that…frankly, I’m running out of possible answers to what the problem is, and after doing the necessary research on the forums and various websites, I really don’t know what to do. Thanks in advance for your assistance and I apologize for the lack of any information, if necessary please let me know what would be of further assistance and I will respond asap.

i’m going to try another one that doesn’t work on my page, having resolved the problem with the other tour

    pano file="http://www.kretvision.com/wp-content/uploads/SLAMpreview/final1.html"

the file should then, in theory, be available at

first you need to make SURE your panoramas work via direct link before embedding w panopress, the link in your 2nd post just goes to a 404 page, not a panorama

the embed in your first post works fine on this site, so there must be a problem with your wordpress install, most likely a conflict with another plugin or wordpress theme as explained in the panopress FAQ

do i have to include all the project files as described in the FAQ in order for the tours to both be visible as a stand-alone webpage and embeddable with panopress? that seemed to be the fix for the first tour…can they be in a folder with a bunch of other tours, or does there have to be one dedicated with the other files? thank you for your help, i seem to have figured one tour out but not the others

yes, always make certain you upload all required files to your server, typically this will be all files in the “build” folder output by panotour pro, see the Kolor Panotour Pro documentation for more info on using panotour pro

    http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Panotour_Pro_Documentation

the specifics of these files and their organization will depend on your tour and preferences, but as long as it works on its own it will work with panopress

thanks again for your assistance, I was able to understand the process in order to successfully embed my various tours onto my website. However, now that I have succeeded in uploading and embedding, I find that the tours that should be visible to mobile devices do not function in a full-screen format…on a normal browser on any computer, the full-screen option works but not so much on mobile devices. Any idea as to what could cause this problem? Thanks again for your help, the tour is available at this link:

    http://www.kretvision.com/ekretmar/logo2data/preview3/preview3

and embedded with the following code:

    pano file="http://www.kretvision.com/ekretmar/logo2data/preview3/preview3.html" width="100%" height="500px"

note – i edited some posts above to stop shortcode from rendering a pano, just leave out the brackets and enclose in backticks (`) if you want to show just the shortcode text and not embed a pano

html5 fullscreen is a function of your pano player, not panopress

try accessing your tour link directly outside of wordpress to confirm if html5 fullscreen works on its own, success will depend on your device, browser, player version etc

visit the krpano forums & kolor panotour pro forums for more info on html5 fullscreen, it is still a sort of hit or miss situation depending on several factors, make sure you are using the latest version of your panorama player for best results w latest mobile devices…
