    Hi,
Im attempting to get Panopress to work.
I’ve used Krpano to get the panorama created.

Im using Localhost (Xamp) with the website on my computer located at http://localhost/website.

This is the code that’s embedded:
    panopress.embed({"id":"pp_0","type":"html","version":"4.0","viewer":null,"width":"640px","height":"480px","title":null,"alt":null,"button":true,"panobox":true,"preview":"","file":"http:\/\/localhost\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/vtour\/tour.html","params":{"base":"http:\/\/localhost\/coromal\/wp-content\/uploads\/vtour\/"}})

    http:\/\/localhost\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/vtour\/tour.html
    See all the \/ ?
When i remove the \/ and just have / it works fine opening in my browser.

In pano settings My upload folder address is: wp-content/uploads
    Global Viewer the same: wp-content/uploads

    Please help!
    Thanks

i am kind of confused by tour post, embed shortcode should look like this in your edit window

    [pano file=”path/pano.html”]

also note that global swf is ONLY for krpano xml embeds, not html embeds, and xml embeds usually require some path debugging in your end

other users have reported issues with local servers which we cannot diagnose as we cannot view the site and there are too many variables in such an environment for us to be able to support this sort of set up, no way for us to know if server is properly configured or other issues it may have etc etc…

    thanks

    Thanks Sam
After putting the website online it worked straight away.
Local servers and in my case XAMP definitely has issues.

    Thanks

    1 last thing Sam,
I want to remove the Play image and replace with text..
The “Show Play button” dosent work.. I can remove the image using
    visibility: hidden; and
    display: none;

However any way to replace with text? Like “Click Here”

    Thanks

easiest thing is to replace the image with a png of text, see my site for example of custom play button with text

or, you could try something like the svg text solution here – http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1191464/is-there-a-way-to-use-use-text-as-the-background-with-css
