I am struggling to get a preview picture to show up. I am adding Preview=”path/image.jpg” but image will not show up. I’ve double and triple checked location and path. I only get a play button. Any ideas what I am missing?

that page is displaying a text link which calls the pano, which means the preview file is not found
quick fix is to try using an absolute path to the preview image like this1preview="http://www.domain.com/path/pano/pano.jpg"
this path must of course be replaced by a working absolute url to a file on your site
you can use something like the safari activity viewer to see what files are loading (or not) and from where, this is the best way to debug such problems
also make sure that your embed code does not have any odd or invisible characters by using the wordpress html editor to edit your post, not the wordpress visual editor
otherwise, quadruple check your paths, make sure your panopress upload folder is set properly, etc

Sam, My bad, the link above should have been
The code is1[*pano file="http://lucasmazza.com/wp-content/uploads/panoramas/my-pano/Squire/build/virtualtour.html" width="900" height="700" preview="http://lucasmazza.com/wp-content/uploads/panoramas/my-pano/Squire/squirepreview.png"]

seems the preview file in your code does not exist at the specified address, which is why panopress is not finding it
best always to check paths outside of wordpress just to be sure

Having a problem with preview jpgs.
Panopress cant seem to find them.
JPGs open fine when url is typed in browser and when uploaded via media uploader
just get a play button with no previewJuly 11, 2013 at 11:06 am #2378July 11, 2013 at 10:55 pm #2385
the embed on your page is trying to find the jpg at this address
which returns a page not found error
also, the tour you are trying to embed returns a forbidden error
you will first need to sort out these permission issues on your server and make sure you can access these files directly before embedding w panopress, see the panopress instructions for more ddetails

Can you possibly troubleshoot why the preview image would not be working here?
