    I’m working on a mobile website that has a thumbnail list option using the code below. It displays you guessed it a thumbnail list and each thumbnail is a link. I installed PP and tried to place the code in the place of the url in the thumbnail list but it doesn’t work. Only direct links work. This opens my panos in new windows but I want them to open in a panobox. Does anyone have any idea how to make this work or if this is possible. Thanks! This is the code that generates the thumbnail list. This code is showing with regular direct links in the url field.

    [thumbnail_list]

    [thumb img_url=”http://supremescene.com/mobile/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/mobile-thumb-blog-santas-enchanted-forest.jpg”
    title=”Santa’s Enchanted Forest”
    description=”We made it snow in Miami!”
    url=”http://supremescene.com/sef2013/1/build.html” target=”_blank”]

    [thumb img_url=”http://supremescene.com/mobile/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/mobile-thumb-lincoln-road-3d-walk-blog-mobile.jpg”
    title=”Lincoln Road Mall”
    description=”World class shops & scenery”
    url=”http://www.supremescene.com/lincoln%20virtual%201%20build/virtualtour.html” target=”_blank”]

    [/thumbnail_list]

    easiest way to get a thumbnail grid gallery layout with panopress and panobox is with css, put the following code in your panopress settings in the advanced settings CSS area, or you could also put it in your themes style.css file if you prefer

    this is example code which may require further styling to display exactly as you wish

    see this post for more info on customizing panopress with CSS

    Thank you Sam.

    I entered that example code into the advanced area css settings but I didn’t achieve my desired result yet.

    if I put the pp short code in the place of the url in the thumbnail list it doesn’t work.

    maybe I have to create my own style of thumbnail list because on it’s own (outisde of my themes standard thumbnail list code) panobox is working perfectly.

    I want thumbnails with title and description in a list from top to bottom like this, see image.

    you could make a list like that in css w panopress, you just need to style things as you like, basically just style the panopress css elements the same as you would the thumbnails list

    you cannot put any wordpress shortcode inside an html a url=”” href, that will not work

    also, if [thumbnail_list] is a custom shortcode for your theme or from another plugin, that may or may not always work as expected
