    Hi there,
I am trying to embed a Kolor Eyes video link into a post (also a page) and I can’t seem to get it to work. Panopress is installed. I press the PP button and paste either the generated link or the embed code into the ‘File’ box and use any of the Panobox options. Once I press preview either the space will be blank or say ‘Error Enter URL or file name’

    Link:
    https://eyes.kolor.com/video/8e4b71b0a0f6c16e951013e9dc148439

    Embed:
    <iframe src=”https://eyes.kolor.com/video/i/kolor/8e4b71b0a0f6c16e951013e9dc148439″ type=”text/html” width=”800″ height=”450″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” allowfullscreen=”true”> </iframe>

The links work in browsers outside of WordPress. I am using the Zerif Lite theme with WP 4.2.3

Can you let me know what I might be doing wrong?

    Thanks Hiep

kolor eyes should work with panopress but it seems there is some conflict, it should work if you extract the url out of the embed code like so

    https://eyes.kolor.com/video/i/kolor/8e4b71b0a0f6c16e951013e9dc148439

and insert it into the panopress shortcode like this

    pano file=”https://eyes.kolor.com/video/i/kolor/8e4b71b0a0f6c16e951013e9dc148439″

but, it does not work, we will investigate with kolor and see what we can do

meanwhile, the iframe embed code you posted straight out of koloreyes should work fine on its own, see example below

video embed should appear below this line, reload the page if it does not appear

Thanks so much for your help Sam. Let me know if there is any update on the Kolor embed. What would you recommend as a Panopress friendly cross-platform 360 video host? I thought Kolor would be the best since you mentioned it in one of your posts. I’ve tried Vrideo, Littlestar, Kolor, Youtube, so far and none is perfect across desktop and mobile platforms. There seems to be a hiccup in at least one platform for each of these solutions.

I got the iframe working after a bit of research since this is my first wordpress site. I didn’t realize I needed the plugin. Still, on mobile it wants to kick me out to the Kolor app and I worry that viewers may not have it and have to download it to watch.

360 degree spherical video is still something of an emerging field, i have not tested every available player yet, but probably setting up your own hosting using amazon S3 (or any reliable web host) and krpano viewer will give you the most flexibility

this 360° video below is hosted on s3 and uses krpano viewer –
