I’m trying to do animate preview of panorama like is here:
But all I can get is only .jpg preview:
I’m also getting weird error which I cant understeand:
nload of “skin/qtvr-cursors.png” failed
It’s weird as .html file works fine so path to cursors .png immage is right but in panopress window it doesn’t work …
I’m using this shortcode:
[ pano file=”vtour/tour.xml” preview=”vtour/tour.jpg” ]
I have tried few and I could not get animated preview which should work:
Any help much appreciated.August 10, 2013 at 6:16 pm #2413

the panopress example pano you linked to has no preview image, it just loads the pano directly inline on the page
“skin/qtvr-cursors.png” error is a krpano xml thing, look through your xml to find that object and adjust the path so it loads properly
if you don’t want to deal with xml paths, try embedding your pano with .html instead of .xml
using the panopress shortcode like this with no preview image should do what you want1[pano file="vtour/tour.html"]

Thank you for your reply.
I have tried this shortcode and few others – non of them worked for me.
I just have realized that disabling “Open panoramas in Panobox window” option do the thing and now everything works.
Now the questions is. On this page http://www.50hzphotography.ie/virtual-tour-dublin/ I’m using this code
and it works fine.
While on this page http://www.50hzphotography.ie/360vr-panoramas-tours/ I’m using this code
pano file=”vtour/tour.html” preview=”vtour/tour.jpg”]
and it works fine as well but only for desktop devices, not mobile.
The think is, on that page will be many panoramas and I don’t wont them to start automatically to not make processor work hard and internet connection slow … On desktop is fine but on mobile panorama starts on it own without pressing button.
How to make panorama to use jpg preview instead of start automatically on mobile devices while keeping above settings intact?
ps: code tags in post editing text area seems to not work.August 11, 2013 at 3:12 am #2427
Actually I have figured out how it works, don’t need any help anymore 🙂
Thnx for this plugin and your help, it’s awesome work.

great, glad you got it sorted
a small update to the theme on this site is in progress, post editing tag buttons as well as user profile editing on this forum should be fixed and work properly for all users along with a few other small glitches being cleaned up
