Adding panoress to separate meta box in wordpress theme (help).
  • markodmarkod July 2012

    Hello!

    Very difficult to explain, but I will try !:)

    Now I'm trying to find solution for my website which is based on wordpress. Adding 360 panorama, I'm using your plugin and it's work perfectly! But I have a one problem, I really need to post panorama between Header and Post, there is a gap. So it's not exactly posting space, where usually panorama is displayed on the page. How I understand,  I should to do some customization in my wordpress theme. Editing single-post.php, I can add some code for example image:

    <?php if($mapstatus[0] == 'off') {
    echo '<img src="LINKTOBANNER" />';
    }?>

    and this image will be displayed on all my post pages! But I need to add one panorama to one post, so each post should contain unique panorama! So, how I can do it?!

    I know there is a Meta Box plugin:

    But I still don't have any idea, how I can do it...., maybe some one can helps me with that?! My website is not commercial, when my website will be ready, I will share it with you!

    Many thanks for this wonderful plugin!

    i believe if you make a custom metabox you can also code the custom field value to display in your theme, but depending on where and how it is displayed it may or may not render the shortcode properly, you would need to experiment a bit to see what works for you

    see this page for more info

    let us know if this works
